We accept collaborations on genetic analysis from hospitals or companies within Shizuoka prefecture. Please feel free to ask us.
At my previous work place in Shiga General Hospital, together with hematologists and clinical test laboratory, we did a collaborative clinical study on JAK2 V617F mutation in myeloproliferative neoplasm patients (publication 50).
Munehiro Uemura, my previous colleague, and I developed a chromosomal manipulation ('chromosomal surgery') using Cre recombinase and fluorescent protein-based vectors in collaboration with Dr. Noritaka Adachi in Yokohama City University and Dr. Naoki Kakazu in Shimane Medical University. This method can induce pre-designed deletion, inversion and translocation of chromosomes. We published a paper (publication 48) and created vectors were deposited in and are freely available from Addgene.
